We visited Elbow Cay in April 2004. A quick getaway. We landed on Marsh Harbor by noon, had lunch at Sapodilly's (sp?) before taking a ferry over to Elbow Key. We stayed at the Hopetown Harbor Lodge which was ok. Nothing spectacular. The beach at the lodge was nice. We visited Tahiti beach which was a great experience. The water is calm/clear and about two feet forever....very relaxing. The beach accessed through the center of town is also wonderful. We did a day trip to Great Guana Cay which I would highly recommend. I guess next time my preferance would be to stay there. Very quiant and picturesque. The beach by Nippers is gorgeous. A bright beautiful turquoise blue. We went snorkelling with Froggies to Fowl Cay. The water was not too choppy (atleast when we were there) and the fish abundant and beautiful. Loved it. Dinner at the hopetown lodge is recommended. Good food and great service. Overall a very relaxing vacation not too far from home.
