I stayed in Elbow Cay in late January '06. My girlfriend and I were looking for a Caribbean getaway from a Boston winter. We stayed at the Hopetoen Harbor Lodge, which was great, but the island itself doesn't have much going on. Elbow Cay is the most amazing vacation ever. We rented a boat and took excursions everyday to surrounding islands or just to cruise around the bay and watch dolphins and look at the sea life you could see through the clear water. We visited Elbow Cay in April 2004. A quick getaway. We landed on Marsh Harbor by noon, had lunch at Sapodilly's (sp?) before taking a ferry over to Elbow Key. Elbow Cay is absolutely beautiful. The beaches were picture perfect with turquoise clear waters and powdery white sand. The town is very charming with quaint little houses for rent throughout the year. Most everyone drives around in little golf carts.
